A clear path, without pressure
How the six stages work
Children do not all progress at the same speed. Teach to Transfer lets your child build secure skills, show they are ready, then move forward with confidence.
π
Start gently
Stage 1 is recommended at the start of P6. It uses the easiest level, shorter activities and encouraging feedback.
π―
Progress when ready
An 80% Stage Challenge result shows readiness. The child then moves forward when the next stage is purchased; a calendar date never pushes them ahead.
π
Keep every skill growing
Every stage mixes English, maths and reasoning. The level and test practice rise gradually, so important topics are not left behind.
The learning journey

What happens after you buy
π
Every area opens at Level 1
Buying any stage unlocks all six map areas straight away, starting at the easiest level. Your child is never locked out of easier work.
π
80% moves them up a level
Each area has five levels, from Early P6 to Transfer Test Challenge. Scoring 80% or more moves your child up; below that they get teaching feedback and an easier retry. Every level has a big bank of questions, so children keep seeing fresh practice instead of repeats.
π§
How far they climb depends on the stage
A single stage lets them climb to that stage's hardest level. The Complete Journey opens all five levels in every area. Grown-ups can also switch stage on the map at any time.
Practice papers at the finish line
π
When your child has passed all six Stage Challenges, a Practice Papers section opens free of charge. It holds 8 full papers in the real test format: 28 literacy questions followed by 28 numeracy questions, with a 60-minute timer β the perfect dress rehearsal before the big day.
Simple one-off payments
Each stage costs Β£12.99 and stays available permanently. There is no subscription. Families who want the full journey can buy all six stages permanently for Β£69, saving Β£8.94.
The free seven-day introduction includes P6 Village and the Daily Challenge, so your child can try the learning style first. Paying families also get fresh questions written by Puffin Guide's AI, so the practice never runs out.
