Who we are
Teach to Transfer is provided by Teach to Transfer ("we", "us"). By using this app you are entering into an agreement with Teach to Transfer.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or continuing to use Teach to Transfer, you agree to these terms. Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over, who is responsible for the child's use of the app and for keeping sign-in details private.
The service
Teach to Transfer is an independent practice tool for children preparing for the Northern Ireland transfer test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any test provider. We do not guarantee any test result.
Purchases
Each stage, and the Complete Journey, is a one-off purchase that gives permanent access to that content for your account. There is no subscription or recurring charge.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax and refund mechanics are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
Fair use
You must not:
- use the app unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam;
- copy, resell or redistribute our questions, texts or other content, or infringe anyone's intellectual property;
- interfere with the app's security, including uploading malware, probing for weaknesses, scraping, reverse engineering or getting round access limits.
Ownership
Teach to Transfer owns the app and everything in it, including software, questions, reading texts, artwork, the Puffin Guide character and branding. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content you have access to.
AI-written questions
Some practice questions are written with the help of AI. We check them automatically, but they may occasionally contain mistakes. Please let us know if you spot one.
Availability
We work hard to keep the app running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free from errors.
Suspending or closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment (including chargebacks), or a security or fraud risk.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Northern Ireland.
